Carpenter Canyon

Carpenter Canyon is a canyon on the western side of the Spring Mountains, partially within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, in Clark County, southern Nevada west of the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter Canyon is accessible via State Route 160 and Carpenter Canyon Road near Pahrump. Carpenter Canyon Road is a minimally maintained dirt road reaching roughly 10 miles into the mountains and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. A clearwater stream, the Carpenter Canyon Creek, runs through Carpenter Canyon the entire year, supporting a small population of trout, which is uncommon in the Spring Mountains andMojave Desert.

 At Jetpack America, you’ll be soaring up to 40 feet above the freshwater Lake Spring Mountain and aquatic center at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club. Our water-powered jetpacks will have you hovering, spinning, walking on water, and even ‘submarining’ like a dolphin. The all-new tandem jetpack allows kids as young as 5 to strap in with an instructor to experience the thrill of jetpack flight, turning their superhero dreams into reality! There are several introductory experiences, as well as packages for returning pilots. Your jetpack experience starts with classroom instruction where you will learn flight fundamentals, safety, and tips and tricks to maximize your flight time. Then, it’s out to the water for 10 to 60 minutes of jetpack flight time! Mountain Falls Golf Club

Mountain Falls Golf Course yardages range from 5,415 to 7,082 yards, attractive to both beginners and experienced golfers. Mountain Falls offers a driving range, pro shop, and Grill Room with delicious menu The club is now accepting reservations. The challenging Lakeview Executive Golf Course features lush fairways, fast greens, five par-4s, and 13 par-3s. Designed by golf architect William F. Bell, the 18-hole very walkable “lakeview” course is perfect for golf enthusiasts with an appreciation for nature.

Lake View Executive Golf Course has been voted the best “Executive or Midsize Course in Nevada”. With lush fairways, fast greens, five par 4’s and thirteen par 3’s it’s a great challenge. This is a super course for those who like to walk and enjoy nature. The mountain views are spectacular and the course is very playable for all golfers. Pahrump Golf has never been better.

Pahrump Valley Museum & Historical Society

The Pahrump Valley Museum and Historical Society  was created by a small group of people dedicated to collect, preserve, and study those objects, photographs, local crafts, and documents that will serve to illustrate the story of man and nature in the area which includes Nye County and related surrounding areas. Selected items will be placed on exhibition in a Museum located in Pahrump understanding of our heritage is basic to an understanding of the world we live in and gives us a better appreciation of our state and county.

Pahrump Valley Winery

The Pahrump Valley Winery opened in 1990 and the first vines were planted shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, wild horses thought these youngvines were dinner and they fell victim to this herd. The vines were lost only to be replanted a coupleof years later, this time with a fence!

Sanders Family Winery

Sanders Family Winery established in 1988, Jack Sanders founded the first modern winery in Pahrump. The Sanders Family continues to be committed to hand crafting each wine to finesse and perfect balance, bringing out the best in each vintage varietal and proprietary blends. The family has been growing grapes in Pahrump for nearly three decades. The first vineyard was our Valencia Road Property (Now Winery Road) with our newest vineyards located along the Kellogg Agricultural Bench on Kellogg Road. The tradition continues with the completion of our new stunning Renaissance Tuscan style Winery, Visitors Center and Performing Arts Amphitheater. Much care and thought were involved in the creation of this immaculate facility.
